Log Cabin
Log Cabins can be whatever you want ‘em to be, and there are not many things you can say that about. Okay, partners can be helpers, money earners, spenders, cookers, cleaners, drivers . . . but they’re usually what they want to be, not what you want them to be. Do you see the difference - well, actually there are lots of differences between log cabins and “other halfs” but I won’t get into that now, because we’re only supposed to be talking about log cabins.
Log Cabins are just great for;
- Log cabin extra guest accommodation – (keeps the “in-laws” out of your way for at least a part of the day). Also great for kids sleep-overs, when “sleep” is the last thing on their minds.
- Log cabin summer house – somewhere to sit and sip home made lemonade in the peace and quiet of the garden, far away from the washing up and the pile of laundry which would make you feel too guilty to just sit and relax in the house.
- Log cabin office space – running a home based business from a log cabin can be much more productive and enjoyable than trying to find space in an already over-crowded home. It also helps you to “go to work” even when you’re at home, “can’t you see I’m working, get your own drink or ask Daddy” . . . . you know the sort of thing.
- Log cabin play room – keeps the toys out of the living room, in fact, it keeps the kids out of the living room, at least in the summer months.
- Log cabin sauna – now you’re talking. Just imagine, heading out to the log cabin on a summers evening with your bottle of chilled wine and your fluffy towel, oh, and your other half of course . . . you need somebody who can actually adjust the controls . . . is it hot in here or is it me?
- Log cabin garden storage – well, you need somewhere to store the barbecue, lawn mower, garden tools and sprinklers during the winter months, where they’re not in danger of getting run over as you drive in and out of the garage.
- Log cabin music room – or if the teenagers are in there, the “that’s not proper music” room!
- Log cabin garden workshop – somewhere to do all of those messy little jobs which you’re not allowed to do in the kitchen.
